Keeping E-Waste Out of Landfills
Reboot collected, recycled, repaired and resold or repurposed business electronics, realizing multiple benefits to volunteers, as well as the environment:
- Underutilized, refurbished electronics were diverted from the waste stream.
- Cellphones, tablets, laptop computers and other devices were provided to volunteers to support their work.
- Resale of other donated or recycled e-waste items generated funding for Reboot operations.
- Resale operations provided flexible job opportunities for self-funded volunteers who support themselves with part-time work.
